Diedersdorfer Weg 1
The Marienfelde location lies in a southern suburb of the city of Berlin.
Arrival by rail / public transport
Due to the many options and possible disruptions, we recommend that visitors view the latest connections at www.bahn.de, www.bvg.de or the mobile app of their choice, destination stop "Nahmitzer Damm/Marienfelder Allee (Berlin)". From this stop, a footpath runs between the trees past a car park to the Institute (see sketch). The Institute cannot be seen directly from the stop.
From the city centre
For example from Bahnhof Friedrichstraße - urban railway S 2 in the direction of Blankenfelde to Buckower Chaussee - Bus X11 or M11 (on the opposite side of the street). The trip takes approx. 30 minutes from Bahnhof Friedrichstraße.
From Berlin Brandenburg airport
For example Bus X7 or 171 to U Rudow - U-Bahn line 7 to Johannisthaler Chaussee - Bus X11 in the direction of Zehlendorf. Or: S 45 to Berlin Südkreuz - S 2 in the direction of Blankenfelde to Buckower Chaussee - Bus X11 or M11 (on the opposite side of the street). The trip takes approx. 45 minutes.
Please use a route planner or navigation system if possible set to Diedersdorfer Weg 1, 12277 Berlin where there are car parks. The Institute in Marienfelde is situated on Bundesstraße 101 (Marienfelder Allee) in the southern outskirts of the city. It cannot be seen directly from the street (see sketch).
